▪️CLIENTS ARRANGE DELIVERY: JENNIFER VITALIA DESIGN IS AN ARTISTIC SERVICE WITH NO AFFILIATION WITH ANY DELIVERY COMPANY, RECEIVES NO COMPENSATION FOR REFERRALS, HAS NO CONTROL OVER PRICING, DELIVERY DATES, TIME OF DELIVERY OR DAMAGES THAT MAY OCCUR DURING TRANSIT OR DELIVERY NOR DOES IT HAVE A SHIPPING DEPARTMENT. BY ARRAGING SHIPPING, CLIENT HAS FULL CONTROL OVER WHEN, HOW AND WITH WHAT COMPANY THEY WILL RECEVIE THEIR PIECE(S). FOR THE TRANSPORT PROTECTION, THE DELIVERY COMPANY SHOULD BE LICENSED AND INSURED. CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNICATING WITH DELIVERY COMPANY FOR UPDATES ONCE FURNITURE IS PICKED UP FROM JVD STUDIO. ONCE DELIVERY HAS BEEN SET UP, PLEASE COMMUNICATE DETAILS TO: INFO@JVITALIA.COM. NOTE: THESE ARE AVERAGE WEIGHTS, DELIVERY COMPANIES WILL NEED THE IMAGES TO GIVE ACCURATE PRICING.
▪️COVID DELAYS: THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC HAS CREATED MANY NEW CHALLENGES. SMALL BUSINESSES GLOBALLY HAVE BEEN NEGATIVELY AFFECTED WITH SUCH DISRUPTIONS AS SUPPLY DEFICITS, STAFF SHORTAGES, AND EXPONENTIAL INCREASES IN SHIPPING COSTS. JVD IS NO EXCEPTION. FOR THIS REASON, IF NJ IS AGAIN SHUT DOWN BECAUSE OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY, THERE WILL BE A DELAY IN THE ORDERS PLACED IMMEDIATELY BEFORE, DURING AND CLOSELY AFTER THE SHUT DOWN. THIS DELAY IS A DIRECT REFLECTION OF THE SHUT DOWN, NOT OF JVD'S LACK OF EFFORT TO MEET THE CLIENT'S UNDERSTOOD PRODUCTION TIME. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PLACING YOUR IN-STOCK ORDER. EXPECT DELAYS:
PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR EXTENSIVE DELAYS AND PRICE INCREASES CAUSED BY THE PANDEMIC. HAVING A FLEXIBLE DELIVERY DATE RANGE AND PATIENCE TENDS TO BE MORE COST EFFECTIVE. REQUESTS TO CANCEL AND REFUND DUE TO SHIPPING COSTS OR DELAYS ARE NOT HONORED. ARRANGEMENTS FROM OTHER TRANSPORTERS ARE WELCOMED, AS IS CLIENT PICK UP. BECAUSE THESE ARE CUSTOM, ONE- OF- A- KIND PIECES THEY CANNOT BE SHIPPED VIA: USPS, UPS, FED-EX, GREYHOUND, DHL. ITEMS WILL NOT BE RELEASED TO THESE COMPANIES BECAUSE SHIPMENT MUST BE HANDLED BY A TWO-MAN HAND CARRIER ONLY. DAMAGES DURING TRANSIT MUST BE REPORTED DIRECTLY TO THE DELIVERY COMPANY. DURING THIS TIME WE GATHER IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR YOUR REQUEST. A DESIGN PHONE CONSULTATION WHICH WILL ALLOW US TO PROVIDE THE RIGHT OPTIONS TO YOU FOR APPROVAL. NOW THAT WE KNOW ALL DETAILS WE CAN BEGIN SOURCING / LOCATING YOUR PIECE. THIS CONSULTATION IS A SEPARATE SERVICE WITH A NON - REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $275

SOURCING / LOCATE OCCURS AS PART OF THE CONSULT AND IS THE PROCESS OF FINDING THE PIECE THAT MEETS YOUR VISION.
THE SOURCING OCCURS DURING THE CONSULTATION. ONCE WE HAVE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR STYLE, COLOR PREFERENCES, DIMENSIONS, INSPIRATION AND ANYTHING ELSE WE MAY NEED, WE BEGIN TO LOOK FOR PIECES THAT FIT YOUR VISION. JVD USES AN EXTENSIVE NETWORK OF ANTIQUE /MODERN DEALERS, AUCTIONS, IMPORTERS AND ANYTHING IN BETWEEN TO FIND YOUR ENVISIONED PIECE! THIS STAGE OFTEN MOVES QUICKLY (PARTICULARLY, IF WE FIND THE PIECE AT AN AUCTION. IN THE SAME WAY YOU SAW “IT” AND KNEW IT IS MEANT FOR YOU, SO DID OTHERS). WHEN LOOKING AT AN IMAGE SENT TO YOU, KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS WILL BE TRANSFORMED. THE COLOR AND HARDWARE ARE NOT A CONCERN-- THAT WILL BE CHANGED. LOOK AT THE BONES OF THE OPTION- THE CURVES, LINES, HEIGHT, STYLE, ETC. IF YOU DON'T LOVE AN OPTION SENT OVER, YOU SIMPLY REPLY "PASS". YOU WILL KNOW WHEN YOU SEE IT- AND WHEN YOU DO, REPLY WITH "APPROVE". ONCE A PIECE IS APPROVED, AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT TO YOU. IMAGES WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL ONCE THE PIECE ARRIVES AT THE STUDIO. THE PIECE WILL THEN MOVE TO THE PREP STAGE.
IMPORTANT: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CHECK AND PAY THE INVOICE IMMEDIATELY. NON-PAYMENT MAY RESULT IN LOSING YOUR APPROVED PIECE BEFORE THE SCHEDULED PICK- UP. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT WILL STILL COUNT AS A COMPLETED LOCATE. BY THIS TIME IN THE PROCESS: TIME, NEGOTIATIONS, APPROVALS AND PICKING UP ARRANGEMENTS ARE ALL IN PLACE AND SCHEDULED. JVD WILL NO LONGER CONTINUE TO WORK ON THE PROPOSED ORDER AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.

PREP AND RESTORATION IS THE SPA SEGMENT OF THE PROCESS: SANDING, SCULPTING, NAILS AND POLISH. IT TAKES A BIT OF TIME, BUT IT'S IMPORTANT FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT!
PREP TIME VARIES FROM ONE PIECE TO ANOTHER, BUT WITH ALL PIECES, IT IS THE STAGE THAT TAKES UP THE MOST TIME. HERE THEY ARE SANDED, IMPERFECTIONS WORKED ON, PRIMED FOR FINISHING COLOR-EACH OF THESE REQUIRING A SPECIFIC WAIT TIME. YOUR PIECE IS ALSO IN LINE AS OTHER PIECES ARE BEING WORKED ON. IT IS IN GOOD COMPANY AS IT WAITS ITS NEXT TURN.

ONCE YOU CHOOSE YOUR PIECE/PIECES' COLOR, WE WORK TO BREATHE THE NEW LIFE YOU HAVE CHOSEN FOR IT.
THE FINISHING STAGE OCCURS ONCE PREP IS FINALIZED AND YOU HAVE CHOSEN AND APPROVED YOUR PIECES' PAINT. DURING THE FINAL PAINT LAYERS YOU WILL RECEIVE IMAGES . ONCE COMPLETED, A FINAL IMAGE WILL BE SENT FOR APPROVAL AND AN APPROVAL CONSULT WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE THE PIECE IS PREPARED FOR SHIPPING. THIS STAGE IS ALSO THE TIME TO BEGIN LOOKING FOR A DELIVERY COMPANY. WE WILL NOTIFY YOU WHEN YOUR PIECE IS ABOUT FOUR WEEKS FROM COMPLETION SO THAT YOU CAN MOVE FORWARD WITH SCHEDULING. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS A PROCESS AND REQUIRES TIME.
TO CONFIRM ALL INFORMATION REVIEWED, A FINAL DESIGN CONSULTS AND ANY RECAPS THEREAFTER ARE RECORDED.
